Ukraine interested in tropical fruit from Azerbaijan

The head of the Economic Department of the Embassy of Ukraine in Azerbaijan Vadim Sidyachenko has said that Ukraine is interested in creating logistics centers for the supply of tropical fruits from Azerbaijan.

"The possibility of the creation of regional centers of logistics to provide Ukraine with citrus fruits, pomegranates, persimmons, figs and nuts, hazelnuts, etc is being studied." he said.

Sidyachenko added that the meeting of the joint intergovernmental commission will be held in March.

"At the beginning of December 2015, Deputy Prime Minister Gennady Zubko with the head of the presidential administration Borys Lozhkyn visited Baku, an agreement to hold a joint meeting of the intergovernmental commission was reached. In April-May, a visit from President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, is expected in Baku," he said.
