EZ Portable Buildings will move its headquarters and manufacturing operations into the Tyler Mountain Water Building in west Paducah, which will serve clients within a 250 mile radius. The company will move into the 335,000-square-foot facility before the end of the month. Hiring is already underway.

"We here at EZ Portable Buildings Inc. are excited to be coming to Kentucky. We look forward to being able to employ the people of western Kentucky and provide a high-quality and friendly work environment. We would like to thank the Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development and Paducah Economic Development for all of their hard work and support on this project, and we look forward to a lasting and growing relationship with the region," said Trendon Burnett, president of EZ Portable Buildings.

EZ Portable Buildings has been manufacturing and selling portable storage buildings since 2013. These customizable wooden structures come in 250 different shapes and sizes. In addition to storage facilities, the company also produces small houses and cabins.

To encourage the investment and job growth in McCracken County, the Kentucky Economic Development Finance Authority (KEDFA) preliminarily approved the company for tax incentives up to $375,000 through the Kentucky Business Investment program.

The performance-based incentive allows a company to keep a portion of its investment over the term of the agreement through corporate income tax credits and wage assessments by meeting job and investment targets.
