Greenfield Products to invest $6.3m, employ 100

Greenfield Products announced it will expand their operations in Union City, investing $6.3 million and creating 100 new jobs during the next two years in Obion County.

A manufacturer of custom heavy equipment attachments, Greenfield Products will add an additional 80,000 square feet of manufacturing space to their current facility located at 3920 Greenfield Drive.

During the last decade, Tennessee’s total export volume has more than tripled with businesses selling $30 billion worth of Tennessee products globally last year alone. Greenfield Products currently exports its merchandise to countries worldwide including Chile, Mongolia, Russia, Australia, Canada, Mexico, Antarctica and parts of Central America.

"Having an existing foothold in Union City, Tennessee with Greenfield Products over the last seven years has made our decision to expand our opportunities into the future an easy one. The efforts of growing our manufacturing footprint by relocating additional product lines into Tennessee will bring additional jobs and opportunities for our future growth," Greenfield Products executive vice president Frank Calomino said.
