LLA has confirmed 13 new routes so far this year, including USA, Morocco and Turkey, with four further routes confirmed for 2015. The Airport’s quick and easy service and good value make it a draw for holiday makers.

Passenger numbers at LLA grew by 16% in June compared with the same month last year. A record breaking 1.2 million passengers travelled through the Airport, marking 15 months’ consecutive growth.

With continued passenger growth expected, LLA is investing £100 million into the Airport to increase annual capacity from 12 million to 18 million by 2026, as well as delivering major upgrades to the Airport’s facilities, including:

- A complete redesign of the terminal to create a quick, efficient, friendly and convenient passenger experience.

- Doubling existing retail space and the development of a new world-class executive lounge.

- Major upgrades to transport links, including better road access to the M1, new car parking facilities, a remodelled bus and coach interchange and improved rail links.

- The addition of Luton Airport Parkway to the Oyster card network in September.
