Walmart to start shopping frenzy at 12:01 a.m. PT on Thanksgiving

For the first time ever, the majority of Walmart’s Black Friday deals will be available on beginning at 12:01 a.m. PT on Thanksgiving morning.

Then, Black Friday will begin in stores at 6:00 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day. New this year, Walmart’s mobile users can get a first look at the retailer’s Black Friday circular, available through the Walmart app.

More than one million Walmart associates will be serving customers on Thanksgiving Day.

In appreciation for their hard work, the company will recognize them with additional pay, free dinner during their shifts and a 25 percent discount on an entire basket of goods this holiday season.
