Mexico jobless rate falls in July

Mexico's unemployment rate dropped more than forecast in July, figures from the statistical office INEGI showed.

The seasonally adjusted jobless rate declined to 3.2 percent from 3.3 percent in June. Economists had expected the rate to remain unchanged.

The unadjusted unemployment rate, in contrast, climbed to 3.4 percent from 3.2 percent. Economists had forecast a jobless figure of 3.5 percent.
