170 Vietnamese websites attacked during Lunar New Year
Hackers mostly changed the interfaces and planted malicious codes in the source codes of the websites.
Besides, 116,000 Vietnamese IP addresses remain in the fake network created by malicious codes. According to the Authority of Information Security, the number of fake IP addresses reduced remarkably from 234,838 during the week before Tet.
According to statistics released by the authority, computer users are to be blamed for 95 percent of the cases. The Vietnam Computer Emergency Response Team (VNCERT) found out that 438,000 Vietnamese email accounts have their passwords disclosed, including 930 “gov.vn” accounts. ■
