Bomb threat: Smartwings makes emergency landing in Croatia

A Smartwings plane flying from Prague to Split, Croatia was grounded today due to a bomb threat.

Police conducted a search for hours, and after the plane, all passengers and crew were examined no bomb was found.

"All passengers and crew members were examined and all are located in the premises of ZL Split. The threat report to this current one has NOT been confirmed. The work of the competent services on the ground continues," the statement of the Croatian police says.

A plane flying from Prague to Split landed in Split with a notification from the pilot about the state of emergency, The Croatian Air Navigation Control confirmed to N1.

When the plane entered Croatian airspace, a bomb was reported.
