Denmark sends health team to Slovakia to help with COVID-19 patients

Slovakia will on Friday receive a health team consisting of three doctors and five nurses from the Danish healthcare system to help with the critical COVID-19 situation in the country.

In addition, a liaison officer and a staff doctor from the Danish Emergency Management Agency are sent to coordinate the efforts.

The healthcare professional, who possesses all the necessary skills to assist in the current situation, is expected to be deployed for two weeks.

In addition, the Danish health authorities are also investigating the possibility of sending another team of health professionals of approximately two weeks' duration, with similar competencies, which will replace the first team of health professionals.
