Another storm will arrive across Germany late Tuesday and bring additional wintry weather into Wednesday.

Central and southern Germany will be at risk for snowfall, with the steadiest snowfall expected in the mountains of central Germany Tuesday afternoon and evening.

The steadiest snowfall will then expand across southern Germany Tuesday night into Wednesday.

Locations from Stuttgart to Nuremberg and Munich will receive up to 5 cm (2 inches) of snowfall, which could bring the threat for slick travel.

Areas from Frankfurt to Hamburg, as well as locations farther east to Berlin, will dodge any accumulating snowfall as temperatures remain above freezing and most of the precipitation falls as rain through Wednesday afternoon.
