FedEx plane makes emergency landing

A FedEx plane had to make an emergency landing at Memphis International Airport.

According to firefighters, the landing happened at 4 p.m. Sunday. FedEx released a statement on the incident, which read: “FedEx Flight 63 from Memphis to San Juan returned to Memphis after a mechanical alert, WMC5 Action News reported.

“After landing safely, three wheels departed the paved surface area. The crew and aircraft are fine. We are working to return the aircraft to our ramp area.”
