Virginia State Police confirmed a 19 year old Brannagan K. Locklear involved in a collision in Pulaski died after his vehicle ran off the side of the highway, struck an embankment and overturned. Slick road conditions were believed to be a factor in the cause of the crash added.

In Pennsylvania, where the storm dumped heavy snow for hours, two people were killed and multiple others injured after a multi vehicle crash involving about 50 vehicles on Interstate 80 in Clinton County.

Parts of central Pennsylvania were blanketed with well over a foot of snow, with the highest amount reported in Wellsboro a whopping 18.8 inches, according to CNN.

This winter storm is greater than the total snow for the 2019-2020 winter season of 4.8.

About 18.5 inches were reported in Dushore and 14 inches in Lock Haven, Vintondale and Sandy Ridge, according to the National Weather Service.
