Moscow to jump from abnormally warm weather into polar winter

Next week, the abnormally warm weather will be replaced by 10-degree frosts and a snowstorm in Moscow, the expert of the weather center Phobos, Evgeny Tishkovets said.

On January 7, the day after Christmas, a cold front will begin to break through into the capital, followed by polar air masses accompanied by snow, RIA Novosti reports.

The peak of bad weather will be on January 7-8: the air temperature will drop to -5, and on Monday night to -10, Tishkovets said.
