The executive stressed that the General Inspector of the Peruvian Air Force, Lieutenant General Rodolfo Garcia Esquerre, is on a working visit in Moscow, and took advantage of Thursday to make a flight in one of the prototypes mentioned, in order to know the benefits of the new fighter jets.

Rodolfo Garcia said that Peru has had fighter jets similar to these MiG-29 for more than 20 years, but the recent models (M2) have 'important modifications and some additional capabilities that I have been able to appreciate now.'

Garcia Esquerre also stated that both the electronic controls and gauges, as well as the MiG-29M2's digital display provide more information to the pilot and make the flight more comfortable and safe.
