Key priorities in the agreement are the development of Bulgaria's greenhouse sector and the creation of producer organisations.

Minister Grudev stressed that both priorities are of great importance for Bulgarian fruit and vegetable producers, as they currently suffer great losses due to the Russian embargo. He pointed out that participation in producer organisations will help them become more efficient.

Another important priority is cooperation on the implementation of the reformed Common Agricultural Policy. The declaration is set to establish more cooperation in the fields of livestock, agricultural science and education.
