Bulgaria new customer for Iranian energy

Bulgaria, keen on buying Iranian gas, put forward practical measures for taking delivery of the commodity

Bulgaria has proposed three options for receiving Iranian energy: import via Turkey, import via Georgia, and purchasing Iranian gas in the form of LNG.

With a capacity of exporting an annual 30 billion cubic meters of gas to Europe, Iran welcomed the European states demand to Iranian gas.

Different European companies have called for receiving Iranian gas but their demands are under initial study at the moment.

Bulgarian prime minister proposed gas imports from Iran during his Tehran visit last week.
