Cuba saw three million foreign visitors

Cuba reached three million foreign visitors so far this year, said a statement of the Ministry of tourism (Mintur).

The note points out that such data are managed this Saturday, 39 days before compared with 2015.

This represents a cumulative growth of 12 percent, so the destination Cuba reinforces its position in the world tourism stage.

This result was possible thanks to the work of the workers of this industry on the island, and the cooperation of many sectors of the economy, outlined.

This increase in the number of foreign visitors, represents a commitment to achieve superior results in the management, work for the improvement and continuous diversification of recreational product, and raise the quality of service, stresses the Mintur.

The maximum objective is to increase the results to make a greater contribution to the development of Cuban, concluded the statement.

Cuba currently boasts more than 62,000 rooms in about 300 hotels distributed all over the country, most categories four and five-star, who joined private accommodation that coordinate efforts with the authorities.
