Industry data show that components and accessories had the biggest impact on the growing exports of the Polish automotive sector, which in 2015 were worth more than EUR 20 billion for the first time on record.

Components and accessories exceeded 40 percent of the value of all automotive products shipped from Poland last year.

The Czech Republic is the fifth-biggest car producer in Europe. Poland is the ninth.
