Greece private sector new debt to state rises 1.1 bllion euros

Individuals and businesses' new debts in Greece rose further in August, by 1.1 billion euros.

The number of state debtors amounted to almost 3.9 million, data from the Independent Authority for Public Revenues showed. Debts have reached 8.55 billion euros since the beginning of the year.

The total amount of old and new debts owned to the state amounted about 98.2 billion euros.
