This year's MLK job fair largest yet with 170 businesses and 6,000 jobs

This year’s Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Career Fair in Empire State will be the largest yet, with more than 170 businesses offering more than 6,000 Capital Region jobs.

The fair will be held on Wednesday, March 30, in the Empire State Plaza Convention Center.

The Career Fair, which will also feature state agencies with jobs available, will be held on Wednesday, March 30, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Empire State Plaza Convention Center in Albany.

The event is free for job seekers and businesses. Job seekers are encouraged to dress to impress and pre-register now at: www.labor.ny.gov/mlkcareers.

The Dr. King Career Fair is sponsored by the New York State Department of Labor in collaboration with the Office of General Services. It features more than 170-businesses from 19 industry sectors.

On-site interviews with ten participating businesses will be available throughout the day. Additionally, job seekers can attend workshops, which begin at 10 a.m.
