Ukraine's airlines tentatively increase passenger traffic by 40% in January-June

Ukrainian airlines, according to live data from the State Aviation Service, transported 4.556 million passengers in January-June 2017, which is 39.8% more than in the same period in 2016.

According to a report on the agency's website, international traffic grew by 41.8%, to 4.127 million people.

Passenger flows through the airports of Ukraine increased by 34.1% and amounted to 7.145 million people, in particular international traffic rose by 35.7% and amounted to 6.26 million passengers.

During January-June 2017 Ukrainian airlines carried out 42,200 commercial flights (23.8% up year-over-year), including 35,500 international flights (22% up).
