Greater Fort Lauderdale Food & Wine Festival, culinary experiences for everyone

The Greater Fort Lauderdale Food & Wine Festival is the premier culinary event in Broward County, Florida.

The event, which celebrates the Broward food, wine, craft beer, and spirits scene at unique venues across the county, takes place Monday, January 10, through Sunday, January 16, at Las Olas Oceanside Park in Fort Lauderdale Beach. A portion of all proceeds from the Greater Fort Lauderdale Food & Wine Festival presented by Visit Lauderdale will benefit Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital.

The festival's popular spirit-focused event Cocktail Confidential that takes place Wednesday, January 12, is already sold out.

But you can still join MasterChef on FOX Season 7 Winner Shaun O’Neale and Chopped Champion Ed Randolph from Handsome Devil BBQ as local chefs and BBQ joints compete for the title of ‘Best BBQ’. This VIP experience will take place at the Hyatt Centric’s 8th floor pool deck right in the heart of Downtown Fort Lauderdale on Friday, January 14, 2021 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm. Ticket for this event costs $109 per person.

The Grand Tasting, featuring food and beverage tastings from more than 20 restaurants, along with cooking demonstrations and live music takes place Saturday, January 15, at the Las Olas Oceanside Park. General admission $69 ticket includes: 3 hours of unlimited food and beverage tastings beginning at 1 pm, commemorative tasting glass, gift bag, unlimited water cooking demos and live entertainment and art installations. VIP tickets for this event are already sold out.

Family Day, a free event featuring kid-friendly activities, food trucks, and cocktail bars takes place Sunday, January 16. Minimum age to participate in kids culinary classes is 6 years old and all students will get their very own apron and cooking hat to take home.
