Surrounded by the sea as the sun sets in Abu Dhabi, there is Louvre Abu Dhabi and its amazing 'floating dome' made from 7,850 aluminium stars of varying sizes, which tessellate over eight layers to create a perforated roof structure that allows sunlight through to the spaces below, a unique vision of the architect Jean Nouvel.

There are several outdoor artworks to contemplate and places to hang out by the glittering water, or even on the roof terrace. It is lovely at night with the sea breeze and the city sky-line backdrop.

Take a stroll, have a photoshoot or come and chill with friends in the peaceful grounds of the Louvre Abu Dhabi Park. That’s where the evening joggers and walkers go.

You can also enjoy a two for one beverage offer, or a delicious French Cheese platter and end your evening by visiting the Museum Boutique to see a new range of products and books.

No reservation for the evening needed! Complimentary dome access is from 6:30pm - 9pm on Wednesdays. Just drop in.
