Bulgaria and China sign marine transport agreement

Bulgarian President Rosen Plevneliev, who is on a visit to China, and his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping, praised the success achieved in the cooperation between China and Central and Eastern European countries.

Bulgaria has confirmed its desire to host the sitting of the heads of the governments of the Initiative 16+1 nad has declared its readiness to establish on its territory the Association for Cooperation in Agriculture in the frames of the initiative.

Bulgarian and the People's Republic of China have also inked an Agreement on Marine Transport, a Memorandum on Good Relations and Mutual Opening of Cultural Centres on the part of the Ministries of Culture of the two countries and a Protocol on the Phitosanitary Requirements for Alfalfa Export from Bulgaria to China on the part of the Bulgarian Ministry of Agriculture and Food and the Chinese General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine.

Rosen Plevneliev and Xi Jinping attended the signing of a Memorandum on Cooperation between the Confederation of Employers and Industrialists in Bulgaria and the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade.
