Kuwait to buy 30 military helicopters from France

Kuwait has signed a deal with Airbus Helicopters to buy 30 Caracal military helicopters for 1 billion euros, the French Defense Ministry said.

According to the statement, the contract was signed in the presence of French Defense Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian, and the helicopters will be used by the army and the national guard of Kuwait.

According to Le Drian, Kuwait's decision establishes once again the quality of the French defense industry and further strengthens the strategic partnership that has linked the two countries over several decades.
