“In Belarus there are deposits that can be developed with the help of foreign investors. We have experience in such field development. In the future we plan to attract foreign investors for such projects more actively,” he said.

According to Andrei Kovkhuto, the ministry is preparing the corresponding information for investors.

“Besides, both the head of state and the government instruct us to develop the export of geological services. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs helps a lot through opening new embassies and representations,” the minister noted.

Andrei Kovkhuto stressed that Belarusian geologists have experience in conducting scientific and research works abroad. “From the Soviet Union times our geologists have been known for their qualifications. Our school is known worldwide. We believe we can do this work,” he stressed.
