Putin proposes Medvedev for Russian prime minister

Russian President Vladimir Putin proposed Dmitry Medvedev for the post of Russia's prime minister.

He submitted the nomination to the State Duma, Russia's lower house of the parliament, the Kremlin said shortly after Putin was inaugurated for a fourth term.
