Sanctions on Iran's Shahid Rajayee Port lifted

Western sanctions against Shahid Rajayee port in Southern Iran were lifted and the first foreign cargo ship will berth in the port on July 20, an official announced.




"After lifting sanctions on Shaheed Rajayee container port, the first foreign (Taiwanese) shipping line will arrive at this port on July 20," Deputy Head of Iranian Ports and Maritime Organization Ali Jahandideh told FNA. "Another ship belonging to the same company will berth in Shahid Rajayee port on July 25."

Noting that three other foreign shipping lines are also due to come to Shaheed Rajayee port, Mr. Jahandideh said the shipping companies of India, China, Taiwan and South Korea will also resume operations in the Iranian ports soon.
