The members of the organisation include companies that are among the 500 biggest ones in the world, the press centre of the President’s Office announced.

“Bulgaria has a serious potential and is a centre of several highly dynamic industries in Southeast Europe,” said Plevneliev, speaking at the meeting.

The Head of Stare announced new US investments in the country had been negotiated at the meeting.

“An American company will open an office with over 100 software developers very soon. Another US company committed to doubling the number of software developers hired in the country from 500 to 1,000.

"There is an American pharmaceutical company that said it was interested in expanding its operations in Bulgaria, even in purchasing a Bulgarian pharmaceutical business,” the Bulgarian President remarked.
