Zambia and Morocco seal 19 cooperation agreements
The signing took place after Zambian President Edgar Lungu and Moroccan King Mohammed VI held six private talks. A memorandum of understanding was also among the signed documents.
The Moroccan king arrived in Zambia on Sunday night on a two-day state visit.
Accompanied by Prince Moulay Ismail as well as other government officials, he is on a royal tour to several African countries including Ghana, Guinea, Kenya, Cote d’Ivoire and Sudan.
Eight agreements were bilateral in nature, and the rest were about private-sector cooperation, according to state broadcaster, the Zambia National Broadcasting Corporation. ■
