Ali Said Nasser Al Hadabi New General Manager of Oman Electricity Transmission

Oman - December 2, 2008, Oman - Oman Electricity Transmission Company, the provider of transmission services to the Main Interconnected System (MIS) in the north of Oman has appointed Ali Said Nasser Al Hadabi as new General Manager.

As a veteran of Oman's power industry, Mr. Al Hadabi brings to the table a solid and comprehensive grasp of the workings of all the major components of the generation, transmission and distribution business.

A postgraduate in Electrical Engineering from the UK, Mr. Al Hadabi has over 20 years of professional experience covering the gamut of the power sector business.

Mr. Al Hadabi held various technical and executive positions within government (former Ministry of Housing, Electricity and Water - MHEW) and power utilities.

Prior to his recent appointment, Mr. Al Hadabi was General Manager of Majan Electricity Company (MJEC), a subsidiary of Electricity Holding Company, (EHC), as is OETC, responsible for power distribution in the Dhahirah and North Batinah regions.
