Altona Energy promotes Christopher Lambert to CEO

London, United Kingdom - November 19, 2013, London, United Kingdom - Altona Energy, an energy company, announced that executive chairman Christopher Lambert has taken up the role of chief executive.

Mr. Lambert's financial background is predominantly commodity based in the City of London. He headed up the London and global trading operations for Elders Finance Group, The Rural and Industries Bank of Western Australia, Barclays Bank and Prudential Securities (USA) London. He is a Director of ASX listed PepinNini Minerals Limited.

The company also announced that Deputy Chairman Michael Zheng has stepped up to Executive Chairman.

Mr. Zheng brings a great deal of expertise and experience of working with China and in Chinese markets.

Mr. Zheng began his career as an economist at the China Economic Commission before moving to the China Rare Earth Office of The State Council Rare Earth Leading Group of the State Planning Commission, where he was in charge of rare earth production. He subsequently became the Deputy General Manager of the China Rare Earth Development Corporation, a commercial arm of the State Council Rare Earth Leading Group.
