Booz Allen Hamilton expans Civil Aviation Practice

McLean, Va., USA - August 17, 2009, McLean, Va., USA - Booz Allen Hamilton announced an expansion of its Civil Aviation Practice that includes James Manchisi, an aerospace executive, and Fred Messina, an Executive Advisor.

Mr. Manchisi will support the systems engineering and integration service area in civil aviation to further boost expertise and know-how to meet the Federal Aviation Administration's near-term objectives to implement the Next Generation Air Transportation System. As an officer of the firm, Mr. Manchisi will draw from across the firm's 5,000 engineers to deploy a multi-disciplinary team solely devoted to aviation and air traffic management dedicated to helping aviation clients address complex operational, engineering, integration, and infrastructure challenges. Prior to joining Booz Allen as vice president in the spring of 2006, Mr. Manchisi served as president of the Commercial and Government Systems Division of Eastman Kodak, and president of Space Systems Division of ITT Industries, where he helped implement complex aerospace systems and earned a reputation for successfully facilitating government-industry collaboration.
