Christian W. Berg named CEO of Viking Supply Ships

Gothenburg, Sweden - April 13, 2015, Gothenburg, Sweden - Viking Supply Ships AB (under name change from Rederi AB Transatlantic) announced that it has appointed Christian W. Berg as CEO of the company.

Mr. Berg will in parallel continue as head of the Viking Supply Ships business area. Since 2011 he has been head of the business area Viking Supply Ships, coming previously from Chief Commercial Officer in Siem Offshore (2008-2011).

From 1999 to 2008, Mr. Berg has had various leading positions at several companies, such as Promarine Ltd and Promarine AS, NavTech AS in Egersund and Horizon Mobile Communications in Singapore. He has had various board engagements within the scope of his employments. From 1988-1996 he has been seaborne within the offshore industry at Bergesen and the Norwegian Navy.
