Elisabet Salander Bjorklund new CEO of Bergvik Skog AB

Helsinki, Finland - May 3, 2010, Helsinki, Finland - Stora Enso, a global paper and packaging company, announced that Elisabet Salander Bjorklund has been appointed CEO of Bergvik Skog AB, the company's subsidiary, effective September 1.



Ms. Bjorklund is current Executive Vice President, Wood Supply, HR, Sustainability and Latin America, Country Manager Sweden.

Ms. Bjorklund joined Stora in 1995, and she served ad Managing Director of Stora Timber AB 1995–1999, Director of Business Unit Nordic Redwood, Stora Enso Timber 1999–2000, Director of Raw Material and Fibre Products, Stora Enso Timber 2000–2003, and as EVP of Stora Enso Wood Supply Europe 2003–2005.

Ms. Bjorklund also served as SEVP of Forest Products 2005–2007, EVP of Wood Products, Pulp Supply, Wood Supply and Sustainability 2007–2008. She is a member of the Board of Directors of SJ AB, Clas Ohlson AB, The Swedish Forest Industries Federation, and member of The Royal Swedish Academy of Agriculture and Forestry and The Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences.
