Jefferies appoints two new senior executives

New York, USA - December 16, 2010, New York, USA - Jefferies, a global securities and investment banking firm, announced the addition of Frank S. Cicero, who joins the firm as a managing director and global head of financial institutions investment banking.

Mr. Cicero brings to Jefferies 18 years of financial institutions investment banking experience. Mr. Cicero joins the firm from Barclays Capital and Lehman Brothers, where he spent 11 years and was a Managing Director in the Financial Institutions Investment Banking Group and Global Co-Head of Banks and Depositories.

Prior to Lehman Brothers, Mr. Cicero spent seven years in financial institutions investment banking at Keefe Bruyette & Woods, Inc. He received his BA from Columbia College.

The company also announced that Jason L. Reid is joining the company as a managing director. Mr. Reid brings to Jefferies 14 years of investment banking experience. Mr. Reid joins the firm from Barclays Capital and Lehman Brothers, where he spent 11 years and was a Managing Director in the Financial Institutions Investment Banking Group focused on coverage of the Banks sector.
