Keweenaw adds Frederick J. Weyerhaeuser to the board

Ironwood, Mich., USA - August 10, 2010, Ironwood, Mich., USA - Keweenaw Land Association, a land management company, announced that it has elected Frederick J. Weyerhaeuser to the board.

Mr. Weyerhaeuser brings to Keweenaw a wealth of business and forestry experience. He is a graduate of Yale University (with a major in geology and geophysics) and received a master’s degree from the Yale School of Forestry, where he continues to serve on The Leadership Council.

Mr. Weyerhaeuser has served on many boards, including The New England Forestry Foundation, Weeden and Company, Rock Island Corporation, and the Forest History Society. He is a founding member of the National Alliance of Forest Owners, the national interest group for private landowners in the United States and serves on their Executive Committee.
