Metron Aviation adds Jane Garvey to the board

Dulles, Va., USA - March 8, 2010, Dulles, Va., USA - Metron Aviation, a provider of air traffic management services, announced that Jane Garvey has joined its board of directors.

Appointed by President Clinton in 1997, Ms. Garvey was the first FAA administrator to serve a five-year term and the first woman appointed to that role. Ms. Garvey is the Chairman of Meridiam Investment Fund North America and recently served on the Obama administration's transition team, advising on transportation policies and related challenges facing the new administration.

Previous to the transition team, Ms. Garvey headed the US public/private partnerships at JP Morgan. Prior to becoming FAA Administrator in 1997, she was Acting Administrator and previously Deputy Administrator of the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA).
