MFC Global Investment Management: Francoys Levert, managing director, sales

Toronto, Canada - July 6, 2009, Toronto, Canada - MFC Global Investment Management, the asset management division of Manulife Financial, has named Francoys Levert as Managing Director, Sales & Relationship Management.

Mr. Levert is a Chartered Financial Analyst and holds a B.A. in finance from Ecole des HEC in Montreal. Prior to joining MFC GIM, Mr. Levert was a Managing Director with State Street Global Markets, responsible for the institutional foreign exchange sales activities in Canada. He managed a team of sales professionals located in Toronto and Montreal, focused on developing foreign exchange trading activity with non-custody clients of State Street. Mr. Levert was with State Street for 12 years. Prior to that, he held investment banking and analyst positions with Credit Lyonnais and Societe Gener
