New Jersey Resources appoints new top leaders

Wall Township, N.J., USA - September 15, 2016, Wall Township, N.J., USA - New Jersey Resources Corporation (NJR), a provider of natural gas, announced leadership changes as part of its succession plan that will go into effect on October 1, 2016.

Mariellen Dugan, currently Senior Vice President and General Counsel, NJR, will become Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, New Jersey Natural Gas (NJNG).

Ms. Dugan joined NJR in 2005 as Vice President and General Counsel, and was appointed Senior Vice President and General Counsel in 2008. She served prominent roles in the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General, first as Chief of Staff and then as First Assistant Attorney General.

A veteran litigator, Ms. Dugan was an Assistant United States Attorney for the District of New Jersey and was of counsel to the law firm of Marino, Tortorella & Boyle, P.C. in Newark, New Jersey.

Ms. Dugan is a magna cum laude graduate of Seton Hall Law School and a past officer of its Board of Visitors.

Stephen Westhoven, currently Senior Vice President, NJR Energy Services (NJRES), will become Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, NJRES and NJR Clean Energy Ventures (NJRCEV).

Mr. Westhoven joined NJNG in 1990 and for the past six years has been Senior Vice President, NJRES, where he is responsible for natural gas supply acquisitions, negotiating transportation agreements and the continued growth and development of the business.

He previously served as Vice President, Energy Trading, NJRES.

Kathleen Ellis, currently Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, NJNG, will assume the new role of Executive Vice President, Policy and Strategic Development, NJR, until her retirement.

Ms. Ellis joined NJR in 2004 and for the past eight years has been Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, NJNG. She was Director of Communications for Governor James E. McGreevey.

Prior to that, Ms. Ellis served as Director of Government Relations and Communications for Public Service Electric and Gas.

She is a board member of Meridian Hospitals Corporation, New Jersey Future, PAM's List - New Jersey, Interfaith Neighbors, and co-chair of the New Jersey Climate Adaptation Alliance Advisory Committee at Rutgers' Bloustein School.

Stanley Kosierowski, currently President of NJRCEV, NJR Home Services (NJRHS) and NJR Plumbing Services will continue to serve as President of NJRHS and NJR Plumbing Services until his retirement in 2017.

Mr. Kosierowski joined NJR in 2008 as President of NJRHS. In 2010 he was named President of NJRCEV and NJR Plumbing Services. He served as Chief Operating Officer at the New Jersey Economic Development Authority.

Prior to that, Mr. Kosierowski worked for nearly 30 years at Public Service Enterprise Group (PSEG) where he held various positions of increasing responsibility, ultimately serving as President and Chief Executive Officer of PSEG Energy Technologies.
