Petrol: Four board members to step down

Ljubljana, Slovenia - June 10, 2009, Ljubljana, Slovenia - Petrol d.d., Ljubljana, annonuced that the board members Marko Kryžanowski, Igor Irgolič, Alenka Vrhovnik Težak and Boštjan Napast reached a mutual agreement with the Supervisory Board on the termination of their office.

The office of the former two is terminated as of today; the latter two remain in office until a new management board has been appointed, but at the latest by 30th August, 2009. The Supervisory Board appointed Alenka Vrhovnik Težak as Chairwoman of the Management Board for this interim period. The Supervisory Board also issued a power of attorney to the three-member Management Board appointed for this interim period (Alenka Vrhovnik Težak – Chairwoman of the Board, Boštjan Napast – Board Member and Bojan Herman – Worker’s Director) for the appointment of a procurator. The Supervisory Board authorises the Committee for Personnel Issues and Management Board Performance Evaluation to carry out without delay all necessary procedures for the nomination of candidates for chairman of the management board of Petrol d.d., Ljubljana.
