Promethean World chairman Graham Howe to step down

Blackburn, United Kingdom - February 28, 2014, Blackburn, United Kingdom - Promethean World, an education company, announced that its chairman Graham Howe has decided to step down from this role at the end of the AGM on May 8, 2014.

Mr. Howe will remain on the Board as a Non-Executive Director. He became Promethean's Chairman in July 2005.

Mr. Howe was the co-founding director of Orange, having joined with Hans Snook in 1992 to plan the strategy that led to the launch of Orange in April 1994. Initially as Chief Financial Officer, he led Orange's debut flotation in March 1996.

Whilst at Orange, Mr. Howe was also Deputy Chief Executive and Chief Operating Officer before leaving in 2003. Previously, he held senior positions at Hutchison Telecom, First Pacific Company and Touche Ross Management Consultants. He has also served on the board of Cable and Wireless PLC as Senior Independent Director.
