Shubert Director of Babson's Center for Women's Leadership

Wellesley, Mass., USA - December 22, 2007, Wellesley, Mass., USA - Babson College has named Janelle Shubert Director of the Center for Women's Leadership (CWL) after a year serving as Acting Director.

Ms. Shubert has over thirty years of experience in higher education. Ms. Shubert earned her Ph.D. from the University of Michigan, her master's degree at Michigan State University and a B.A. from Southwest Missouri State University. Ms. Shubert has taught at Harvard Business School and at the University of Michigan and was a visiting faculty member at London Business School. An active consultant for over thirty years to a wide array of organizations, Ms. Shubert is a frequent presenter at conferences and professional meetings. Ms. Shubert spent twelve years at the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. In addition to designing and teaching a variety of degree program courses, Ms. Shubert was also the Faculty Chair for multiple Executive Education programs, including two programs specifically designed for Northern Ireland, as well as the International Women's Forum Leadership Fellows Program and the National Hispania Leadership Institute Fellows program. Ms. Shubert has been at Babson since April of 2004.
