95% of U.S. corn harvested, 96% of soybeans harvested

The U.S. corn and soybean harvests should be able to wrap up in the next few days if weather cooperates, USDA said.

The USDA says 95% of U.S. corn has been harvested while 96% of soybeans are harvested.

Only 2 of the top 18 corn states are behind their respective average paces. North Carolina has officially wrapped up for corn, while harvest is over for soybeans in Louisiana, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, and South Dakota.

96% of winter wheat is planted.

59% of U.S. topsoil and 55% of subsoil have adequate to surplus soil moisture levels.
