Animal feed imports to Vietnam from China surge

Imports of animal feed and materials from China jumped 38.1% to $1.95 billion for eight and a half months.

This is according to the latest statistics from the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

During the first half of August alone, Vietnam imported $140 million of animal feed and materials, including $39 million for corn and $13 million for soybean.

Imports of such products from China hit $56.5 million in July, double the level recorded in June.
