Blueberry consumption in France is 10g per year per person against 500g to 1 kg in the UK but the growth potential is considerable.

A coordinated campaign will target both professionals (importers, wholesalers) to raise awareness of the dynamics of the product as well as consumers.

At sales' location product tastings will be held and leaflets (20,000 copies) distributed to customers. These leaflets provide information on Blueberries from Chile and preparation and conservation tips, as well as two easy to make recipes.

In late January and early February several events are planned in supermarkets and hypermarkets.
