French farmers dump manure in front of Dijon Prefecture and Regional Council

On September 8, between 10pm and 11.30pm, a hundred or so farmers dumped manure, compost and onions on the street in front of the Prefecture and Regional Council in Dijon.

They are demanding €20 million to aid crisis recovery from the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region. Cote-d’Or farmers believe that this is the sum of their losses in 2016.

Farmers have stated that they will take action every week, until they are heard.
