The export of fruit increased by 160,000 tons, reaching a value of $102 million. Export of vegetables decreased, on the other hand, with 230,000 tons, equal to $100 million.

It has been the first time in four years that vegetable export to Russia dropped at the port of Manzhouli.

Fruit export increased thanks to a new railway connection into Siberia from Manzhouli. In addition, due to large fruit harvests in Hunan Jiangxi province compared to 2014, fruit prices have come down.
