Nigerian Customs seize illegal vegetables from Benin

Seme Customs Command of the Nigerian Customs Service revealed that its officers seized 269 baskets of fresh tomatoes, fresh pepper and sacks of cucumber, all imported from the Republic of Benin.

Apart from the 269 baskets of fresh tomatoes, there was one basket of fresh peppers, seven sacks of cucumbers and pineapples and 16 baskets of fresh okra. All suspects involved were promptly arrested and detained.
