Peru exported 135.5% more garlic in the first quarter
Between January and March 2017, Peru exported garlic to 12 markets. The main destination market was the United States, which purchased $4,873,000, i.e. 56.7% of the total.
It was followed by Ecuador, Mexico, Brazil, Spain, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, and Australia, among others.

The exporter guild stressed that producers and entrepreneurs were still looking for more markets to maintain this positive trend. ■
